Škoda Auto has unveiled a preview of its upcoming vehicle design language. The seven-seater concept Vision 7S served as a demonstrator.

The all-electric Vision 7S is the first Škoda concept car to feature the Czech brand's new corporate identity. The first sketch has already been published, showing a minimalist interior of a car with a 2 + 2 + 2 seating formula and a separate seat for a child.

The interior of the new Vision 7S concept car features a symmetrical design, as well as a wide, horizontal front fascia that extends to the doors, enhancing the sense of space. The optimally positioned palm rest makes interacting with the touch screen and tactile buttons simple and convenient. Tactile controls are also integrated into the updated steering wheel.

Ambient lighting highlights different areas of the cabin, informs you about charging status and provides appropriate lighting when getting in and out of the car. The door panels also feature interactive tactile and visual elements.

The built-in child seat is located in the center console, the safest place in the car. The front seat backrests provide holders for multimedia devices for passengers in the second and third rows. They also include backpacks.

The spacious cabin offers two different configurations that provide a "new spatial experience" for driving and lounging.

In driving mode, all controls are positioned optimally and the central touch screen is vertically aligned to display all the information the driver needs. The relaxation mode can be activated while charging or stopping for a rest. The steering wheel and instrument panel move forward, while the first and second row seats slide back for an even more relaxed driving position. This option offers passengers maximum space and comfort.

Škoda Auto announced a new design language in March this year. The future corporate identity of vehicles is characterized by roominess, durable and sustainable materials, as well as an emphasis on aerodynamics and maximum efficiency. The concept will be presented later in 2022 and will begin to be implemented in production cars from 2023.
