Kia has officially unveiled an updated version of the XCeed crossover. The car has been redesigned inside and out, as well as a sportier GT-Line version.

Kia XCeed 2023 was decorated with new emblems, compared to the pre-reform car, the design of the lights, bumpers and grille has changed. A black diffuser has been added at the back, and 18-inch wheels have become available for an extra charge.

Interior changes come down to a new graphics of a fully digital instrument panel in expensive versions and a media system. The latter, as before, can have a screen with a diagonal of 8.0 or 10.25 inches. 

The GT-Line version is distinguished by a narrower grille, large air intakes on the front bumper and a diffuser painted in body color. In the cabin of such an XCeed, a sports steering wheel with a beveled bottom is installed, the ceiling is black, and the seats are deeper, with enhanced lateral support.

Kia XCeed GT-Line is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with 204 hp. and a torque of 253 Nm, which is also installed on the Kia Proceed GT. With this engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the XCeed GT-Line accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.

Regular versions of the XCeed are available with 1.0 T-GDI petrol engines with 120 hp. and 1.5 T-GDI with 160 hp. A diesel-hybrid 1.6D MHEV with 136 hp is also available. and gasoline-hybrid 1.5 T-GDI MHEV with 160 hp.

The modification of the 1.6 GDI PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid) is also not forgotten, the power plant of which develops up to 141 hp. and provides up to 60 km of run on electric traction in urban mode.

European sales of the updated Kia XCeed will begin in September.
