Thanks to military assistance from Poland, a new type of tank for Ukrainian tankers appeared in Ukraine — PT-91 Twardy. Armored combat vehicles have already arrived in the country to repel Russian aggression.

The PT-91 Twardy is a Polish main battle tank based on a license variant of the Soviet T-72M1. The basic version of the PT-91 was serially produced at the Bumar Łabędy plant from 1995 to 2002.

It is known from open sources that a total of 232 units of PT-91 were produced for the armed forces of Poland.

RT-91 has modern fire control and communication systems. The protection of the tank and the crew is additionally strengthened by hinged dynamic protection. The combat vehicle is equipped with a PZL-Wola S-12U diesel engine with a capacity of 850 hp.
