The MINI compact crossover concept combines an all-electric powertrain, no-frills design, sustainable materials and a new digital user interface.

The MINI Concept Aceman showcases the MINI brand's new signature design called "charismatic simplicity". The key elements of this style are the light-graphic pattern of the daytime running lights, the octagonal “grille” panel with matrix section and contour lighting, clean surfaces and sharp edges, an athletic shoulder line and powerful rear plastics with vertical Union Jack lights.

The car has a five-door body layout and a five-seater interior. The proportions of the concept are fully consistent with the MINI corporate identity: length, width and height are 4.05 m, 1.99 m and 1.59 m, respectively. Wheel diameter is 20 inches.

The bodywork of the MINI Concept Aceman is finished in bright turquoise Icy Sunglow Green, which contrasts with the British Racing Green roof. The octagonal panel surrounds and door mirror caps are color coordinated with the roof, while blue and rose-orange details underline the vivacious character of the concept.

The interior design of the MINI Concept Aceman is shaped by clean surfaces, clear lines and finely crafted details. The flat front panel with a soundbar-like surface creates a backdrop for the key visual highlight, the centrally located circular OLED display.

The functional panel with classic toggle switches is located just below and rethought in terms of both design and functionality. Digitization makes it possible to get by with a small number of physical controls

The MINI Concept Aceman introduces a new digital concept for controlling vehicle functions through light, movement and even sound. As the user approaches the vehicle, the MINI Companion's special sensor-based animations activate a welcome scenario of light and sound effects. The audiovisual greeting continues in the interior of the car after the doors are opened.

The production car's digital architecture will be based on the latest generation of the MINI operating system, built for the first time on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) software stack.

In the MINI Concept Aceman, the data display extends beyond the central graphic display. Dynamic projection can extend to the entire surface of the front panel and doors. Color projection scenarios are accompanied by special sound effects.

The MINI Concept Aceman will make its public debut on August 23rd at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
