IVECO LAV III is a modification of IVECO LMV (Light Multirole Vehicle) - an army multi-purpose armored vehicle. The mass of the SUV in the basic configuration is 7 tons, the maximum speed is 130 km / h, the cruising range is 600 km.
As of 2016, the Norwegian Armed Forces had 170 IVECO LAV vehicles in various modifications.
In addition to Norway, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Italy, Lebanon, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Russia, Slovakia, Spain and Tunisia operate such armored vehicles.
