18 copies of the BMW i3 were exhibited at the BMW Welt Museum in Germany for a farewell ceremony for this model.

Production of the BMW i3 electric car ceased at the end of July. In honor of farewell to this model, BMW, before handing over the cars to customers, presented them in its museum in Munich. Each car was painted in Galvanic Gold with a black hood and roof.

The BMW i3 was mass-produced for eight and a half years and was sold in 74 countries around the world. During this time, the total circulation of the model passed the mark of 250,000 cars, which, according to BMW, is the best result among premium compact cars.

By the way, in China, the BMW i3 is still on sale and is not going to retire following the example of a global hatchback. However, this is a very different i3, which is a battery version of the 3 Series sedan.
