Texas-based Hennessey Performance promised to unveil the Venom F5 Roadster on August 9th. However, plans have changed and instead of a presentation in social networks published only teaser photos of the novelty, as well as a new premiere date - August 19th.
The Venom F5 Roadster is an open version of the Venom F5 coupe that Hennessey introduced in 2020. Therefore, we expect a rear-wheel drive car with a mid-engined layout with an almost completely carbon body. This is how the manufacturer describes the novelty:
"A mid-engined hypercar designed for speeds in excess of 300 mph, delivering unrivaled performance and the world's best, most exhilarating outdoor driving experience."

Probably, the novelty will inherit the engine from the coupe. We are talking about a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8, nicknamed Fury. The power of this power unit reaches 1,842 hp, and the maximum torque is 1,617 Nm. In a closed car, this colossal power and traction translates into acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and from 0 to 400 km/h in 20 seconds.
By the way, the production limit of the Venom F5 coupe was only 24 copies. The first cars were estimated at a minimum of $1.6 million, but after the release of the first half of the hypercar series, the price rose to $2.1 million.
