The International Engineering Center will deal with the repair of foreign-made weapons that work for Ukraine's victory in the war with Russia. Specialists of the engineering center will be trained and certified to work with foreign military equipment.
"Each weapon unit that Ukraine received from international partners must fight, and in the event of its failure, it must be repaired immediately. The created International Engineering Center is called upon to restore the combat readiness of foreign-made ATS in the shortest possible time", - Ukroboronprom reported.
In July of this year, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov stated during an online conference that Ukraine is interested in building bases for repairing the western-made weapons. The possibility of creating joint enterprises for the maintenance of equipment both in Eastern Europe and on the territory of Ukraine in places protected from Russian attacks is being considered.
