About 1 million euros was collected by the Lithuanians for the purchase of Polish-made Warmate loitering ammunition. Minister of Defense of Lithuania Arvydas Anusauskas declared that his country would use the funds raised during the crowdfunding campaign to purchase 37 of these kamikaze drones for the Ukrainian army.
Part of the funds collected by #LegionOfBoom (1,000,000 euros) will be transferred to Ministry of National Defense and will be used for the purchase of 37 kamikaze drones from and then sent to. Thank you everyone who made donations! #StandWithUkraine pic.twitter.com/9Fxx7pj8rH

Warmate is a small loitering munition, also known as a "suicide drone". It weighs up to 5 kg, is equipped with one electric motor and propeller. With a length of 1.1 meters and a wingspan of 1.4 meters, Warmate can fly at a speed of 80 km/h and accelerate to 150 km/h in attack mode. The maximum declared flight altitude is 500 meters, the duration is 60 minutes.
Depending on the nature of the mission, Warmate can be equipped with HEAT warheads to destroy lightly armored and unarmored vehicles, fragmentation warheads to destroy enemy personnel, or thermobaric warheads to eliminate fortified positions.
Warmate can also be equipped with a GS-9 warhead with a stabilized day and night camera, with which the drone begins to be used for surveillance, detection, tracking and identification of targets. After completing the mission, it can be landed using a parachute.
The drone was developed in 2014 by WB Electronics. The Polish Ministry of Defense started purchasing Warmate in 2017.
