Porsche and TAG Heuer launch Connected Calibre H4 Smartwatch with Wear OS exclusive features for Porsche owners

The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 - Porsche Edition watch is inspired by the all-electric design of the Porsche Taycan and comes with exclusive Wear OS features for owners of Porsche cars. Information from those cars is displayed directly on the watch face.

The watch's design is based on the Porsche Taycan, with a large 45mm black titanium case, highlighted with accents in the distinctive metallic hue seen on the vehicle. The black ceramic polished bezel has a dedicated scale going from zero to 400, referencing a Porsche car's speed, which can be used to read functions relating to the vehicle or to display metrics like heart rate.

The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 is a smartwatch that runs on Google's Wear OS platform, as can be seen in these press photographs. It includes several sports and wellness applications, as well as unique timing features. Owners of certain Porsche Panamera, 911, Cayenne, 718, Macan, and Taycan models will be able to connect their watch to their automobile so that information may be displayed on the watch face's 'complications'.

The first of these complications demonstrates the remaining charge level in electric and hybrid Porsche models. The second displays the estimated range, while the third serves as a link to the Wear OS My Porsche app, which lets drivers to manage their car's heating and air conditioning. The fourth and last displays overall vehicle miles traveled.

The Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E - Porsche Edition will be available for purchase in September at the price of $2,640 (£2,300 or €2,670).
