This new bike wasn't created to compete against bigger brands like Energica, Zero, or Harley. Instead, it's designed for more common and shorter trips- such as commuting to work or going to the grocery store. Additionally, it comes with power and range that surpasses other CSC electrics.
With its small size , the RX1E is easy to maneuver in traffic and can be parked in tight spaces. This bike has many features that are ideal for anyone looking for a new ride. To start, it has 17-inch aluminum wheels with a 100/80 tubeless tire on the front and 120/8 at the back, 6-in (15-cm) ground clearance and low seat height of 30.9-in (78.5 cm). It also can hold up to 331 lb (150 kg) worth of weight including luggage and crash bars if needed be.
The RX1E features an electric motor that produces a maximum of around 80 horsepower (60 kW) and 61.2 lb.ft (82.9 Nm). On the way to a top speed of around 80 mph (128 km/h), it gets up to nine seconds from a standing start and includes electronic cruise control as standard. CSC also says that riders could get up to 112 miles (180 km) of NEDC range for every six hours on charge of the 96 V, 64 Ah Li-ion battery over a 110 V supply.
On the other side, riders get a traditional speedo and an LCD instrument panel with a USB port for charging phones in a cockpit with halogen headlights and LED daytime running lights. Footpegs with serrated metal spikes that may be changed for softer rubber inserts for added suppleness are also available.
The RX1E will arrive in early 2023 with three color options for $8,495. Those who pre-order now may save $500. It'll come with saddlebags and a top box for transporting your groceries or keeping your work clothes protected on the journey.
