Dongfeng Motor's premium electric vehicle (EV) arm, Voyah, has started exporting its vehicles to Norway. This follows the opening of the company's first offline store in the country back in June.

On Monday, Voyah announced that the first 500 of their Free SUVs scheduled to be sent to Norway have started leaving Wuhan, Hubei province where the company is based. The first deliveries to customers are expected at the end of November.

Norway is Voyah's first stop in international markets. The EV maker plans to enter more countries, including Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark, starting in 2023.

Voyah Free is a five-seat, 4.9-meter SUV with two engines with a combined power of 360 kW and 730 Nm of torque. This is enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. The nominal battery capacity is 106 kWh, with a range of an impressive 500 km (WLTP).

The Voyah Free retails at NOK 719,000 (USD 73,284) in Norway.
