The South Carolina BMW factory has built six million cars in the United States. The historic vehicle is a very green BMW X6 M equipped with a 600-horsepower 4.4-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo V-8 engine, Silverstone Full Merino Leather interior, and 21/22-inch M Star-spoke bi-color wheels.

While Spartanburg has been around since 1992, it didn't really hit its stride until 1999, when the first-generation (E53) BMW X5 launched. Since then, Spartanburg has been BMW's largest manufacturing plant. The majority of the brand's SUVs are built there for the world market. The last million of Spartanburg's vehicles were produced between 2020 and 2022, proving how vital SUVs have been to BMW's finances in recent years.

Spartanburg is best known for producing SUVs, but they also make up the vast majority of the firm's production. The newly designed BMW XM, the latest pig-nosed Bimmer to take away the brand's heritage, will also be exclusively built in Spartanburg. This makes it the first M car that will only be built in America.

Due to its historic significance, this Java Green X6 M will remain at the factory and become part of the BMW historic collection.
