Renault introduced a single-seat EV with three wheels and a top speed of 25 km/h

It's called the Solo Concept, and it's a tiny electric vehicle that is only 1.37 meters (54 inches) long. As its name implies, it is designed for only one person and has three wheels: two driven front ones and a single rear wheel that takes care of the steering.

Mobilize Solo Concept can be driven using a joystick without a license, and you don't have to wear a seatbelt or a helmet.It has an asymmetrical body that wraps around the driver and a foot-operated emergency button. The brakes are released automatically when the vehicle comes to a stop in an emergency.

Because it is only 0.9 meters (35 inches) wide and 1.75 meters (69 inches) tall, the driver will have no difficulties navigating the urban jungle while riding in this vehicle. Because it's so tiny, six of them can fit in a regular parking space. The Mobilize Solo features a reclining seat that leans forward to create more cargo space, as well as a washable body and interior.

The battery of the Solo can either be charged through a wired connection or wirelessly. If necessary, the pack can be taken out and replaced with a new one.

Solo Concept is a forward-looking mobility project and part of Mobilize's aim to work on all forms of mobility. Renault's Mobilize also sees this concept as an opportunity to partner with players in the fashion sector, for example to create nomadic accessories for personalisation (clothes, bags and luggage).
