The final Jaguar F-Type will roll off the assembly line next year, putting an end to 75 years of sports cars powered solely by gasoline engines. The more powerful, firmed-up V8 cars will be known as the 'F-Type 75' for the final year of production.

The F-Type will continue into its final year with the choice of a 300 hp four-cylinder motor or two 5.0-litre supercharged V8s, one with 450 hp and the other - in the F-Type R - 575 hp. The more potent V8 cars will be badged 'F-Type 75' for the final year of production with an array of special features to set it apart from the standard car.

This includes commemorative badging, gloss black wheels, Windsor leather performance seats and bespoke interior decorations. A unique Giola Green paint option is also available.

In the UK, deliveries of the F-Type 75 will begin in January 2023, with prices starting at £78,330 for the entry RWD V8 coupe and rising to £108,065 for the F-Type R 75 AWD convertible.The entry-level four-cylinder 2024 model year car, which does not receive the 75 years badge, starts at £62,235.

After the run is complete, Jagaur's range will have the F-Pace, E-Pace, XF and XE until three all-electric crossovers arrive from 2025. These new models will be more expensive than £100,000 and sit on a different platform.
