The French Alpine brand has released a new concept named Alpenglow. This car will never go into production, but it will help the company create other models.

The design is sleek and lightweight, although we don't know many specifics yet. What we do know is that it uses recycled carbon to make it more environmentally friendly.

The unique thing about this car is its transparent rear active spoiler. You can also see through the pedals, steering wheel's paddles, the triangles housing the hydrogen, and sections of the hood. The light signature at both the front and rear will be applied to upcoming Alpine models; while the overall design foretells the LMDh race car coming for the 2024 season.

The vehicle is large, measuring more than 5 meters (almost 197 inches) in length and over 2 meters wide (nearly 79 inches). It's also less than 1 meter high (39 inches), which Alpine says gives "a dream car's proportions"

The powertrain is also remarkable since it demonstrates that a combustion engine can be powered by hydrogen. The required energy is stored in two spherical tanks with a capacity of 700 bars, and the Alpenglow produces "practically nothing besides steam and riveting engine roars".

Alpine Alpenglow Concept will be shown at the Paris Motor Show next week.
