A Tesla fan account uploaded a video of the pre-production Cybertruck to Twitter. The video was reportedly recorded at the electric-car giant's factory in Austin, Texas.
The Tesla Cybertruck's front and side profiles are mostly the same as earlier concepts, but the electric pick-up's rear end has been slightly revised - incorporating a thin strip of LEDs with a larger panel gap to the main section of the tailgate.
The Tesla Cybertruck has three horizontal LEDs making up its center brake light, while the outboard brake lights have two LEDs each, stacked vertically. Within the number plate holder, there are two reverse lights that light up both the road and the plate.
In June of 2022, Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk stated that the Cybertruck would be put into production by mid 2023. In August, Mr. Musk went on to say that due to rising inflation and production costs, the price for Tesla's entry-level single-motor electric pick-up will be different then initially projected back in 2019 at $39,900.
