The Toyota C-HR compact crossover first went on sale to the public in early 2017 and now, five years later, we are already thinking about and imagining what the second generation model will look like.

Motor1 has published an artist's rendering of what the next-generation Toyota C-HR may look like. The artist based the rendering on the current bZ4X all-electric model. Given that Toyota's first mass-market EV represents the future of the automaker, and since the new Aygo X also shares the same design language, it is likely that Toyota will go this direction in terms of styling.

The next-generation C-HR will sport black elements on the rear quarter panels and grille, as per the author's intention. The lights and the roof were inspired by those on a pint-sized city crossover Toyota Aygo X. This unofficial C-HR rendering also has the same proportions as the older model, which should help people identify it.

Please keep in mind that these renders have no affiliation with Toyota Motor. There is no set date for the next C-HR's arrival, but it is expected to come out sometime between 2023 and 2024.
