Honda is making some big promises about the new Accord. In its teaser announcement, the automaker says the model "brings excitement back to the midsize sedan segment." We can't wait to see if the new Accord lives up to Honda's hype.
As you can see from the images, the nose is more angular and stylish. The grille is hexagonal shaped with sharp outer edges. The running lights are located above the headlights. The back of the Accord is designed with more precision, and the taillights take up a majority of the space on the rear end. The only exception to this being in the center where you'll see the Honda emblem.

Upon closer inspection, one would find that the new infotainment screen sits on top of the dashboard. The buttons have also been slimmed down significantly, providing a more minimalistic but modern look similar to what is seen on the latest Accord model. The only remaining control is a knob below the display; it appears to be for adjusting audio volume.

The powertrain specifications for the 11th-generation Accord have not been revealed yet. The current sedan comes equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that has 192 horsepower (143 kilowatts) and 192 pound-feet (260 Newton-meters). There's also a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder 252 hp (188 kW) and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm). The company also asserts that there's "a more responsive and fun-to-drive hybrid powertrain."
