Mercedes-Benz is creating a new "micro-camper" lineup in order to appeal to the motorhome market. Next month, it will introduce the all-electric Concept EQT Marco Polo camper. This van series is significantly smaller than others on the market and creates the first electric Marco Polo model as well.

The near-production concept preview of the factory EQT camper van is an official part of the Marco Polo family, and it will be available in 2023. Be warned, however, that еhe photo at the beginning of this article shows a standard V-Class Marco Polo, not the Concept EQT Marco Polo. The V-Class is waiting for its little brother to come and camp in the campground next door.

We know very little about the EQT Marco Polo concept car from Mercedes, as they have not released an official teaser photo or any information regarding the design. The manufacturer stated that the premium small van has the variability and high-quality equipment level of the T-Class, but with the advantages of all-electric drive for families and active recreationalists. It has compact exterior dimensions but ample space inside.

The battery is installed in a way that saves space and has a low center of gravity. This means the van has almost the same variability and practicality as a conventionally powered van. It also has features like sliding doors and typical Mercedes standards of comfort, connectivity, value, and safety.

On Friday, December 2, Mercedes will present the Concept EQT Marco Polo to the public for the very first time. Production is set to begin in 2023. Check back here for more information as it becomes available.
