In spite of common concerns over the economy and inflation, Lamborghini is having its most prosperous year to date with no indications of stagnation in the near future.

In the first nine months of this year, the Italian car manufacturer sold 7,430 vehicles and is projected to surpass its 2021 sales record of 8,405 units. The Urus model remains Lamborghini's bestselling product with 4,834 units sold so far this year. The Huracan saw the most significant growth, with 2,378 units delivered worldwide. This is an 11% increase compared to last year.

All three of the macro regions, Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) have grown proportionately. The reference market continues to comprise the USA (+8%), followed by Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau (+5%), Germany (+16%), the UK (+20%) and Japan (+26%).

"These consistently rising figures show just how strong Lamborghini is today. We have an order portfolio that already covers the first quarter of 2024, and this allows us to work with peace of mind, looking thoughtfully ahead to the challenges facing us in the future, such as the first step towards hybridization from 2023." Stephan Winkelmann, the Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, commented.

Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, added: "We expect to close the financial year better than ever."
