Tanks are some of the most important weapons in warfare. They are difficult to transport, however, which is why Germany included heavy-duty vehicles designed specifically for this purpose as part of its latest military aid package to Ukraine.

The German government has recently disclosed a list of military aid that was previously transferred to Ukraine. This list includes supplies from Bundeswehr warehouses and German industry, which are financed by the federal government's so-called training aid program.

The new equipment includes both counter UAV technologies as well as heavy-duty M1070 Oshkosh semitrailers and forklifts.

List of Military Support:

  • Ammunition of the MARS II multiple rocket launcher system
  • 8 M1070 Oshkosh heavy-duty semi-trailers
  • 39 protected off road vehicles
  • Spare parts for M2 heavy machine guns
  • 30 MG3 machine guns for armored recovery vehicles
  • 116 field heaters
  • 28 radar and drone jammers
  • 20 frequency range extenders for drone countermeasures
  • 4 forklifts

In addition, Germany is preparing to transfer 10 mobile demining facilities to Ukraine.
