During the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show, Fiat announced plans to reveal the second-generation 500e in early 2024. The American version will make its debut next year at the same Auto Show.

It's important to keep in mind that the new Fiat 500e is already being sold in Europe, where it's priced below both the Mini Cooper SE and the short-range Nissan Leaf. With an estimated 199 miles per charge, this car beats the average range of both that cars. Even though it would go down in U.S. testing, it should still top the Leaf's 150-mile estimate from EPA test cycle results.

If pricing is still cheaper than the two other cars and range does not decrease a lot, this would be a great entry-level EV that looks fantastic.

At the 2022 LA Auto Show, Fiat debuted three custom models designed in partnership with fashion brands Giorgio Armani, Kartell and Bvlgari. Although they were first shown years ago, these three cars are still extremely sharp.

The Giorgio Armani has laser-etched paintwork to closely resemble fabric weaves, the Kartell has sleek plastic panels with a futuristic look, and the Bvlgari's steering wheel is adorned with a 500-badge brooch - which may be stylish but is also probably unsafe.
