Inside the Fiat Metaverse Store, customers will be able to discover, configure and even complete the purchase experiences, "recreating the feel of a showroom from the comfort of their homes."

Metaverse is a virtual shared space where users can interact with each other in an online environment. It combines elements of the real world, such as graphics and audio, with virtual worlds to create an immersive experience that allows users to interact with 3D objects and environments, explore new places, and even create their own content. This allows for a greater level of engagement and collaboration between users, as well as a more interactive shopping experience.

Metaverse is becoming increasingly popular in the gaming and entertainment industries, but it is now being used to create virtual stores, such as the new Fiat Metaverse Store. With this store, customers can explore all of Fiat's offerings without ever leaving their homes. They can configure their vehicles and even complete the purchase process in the virtual world.

Fiat Metaverse Store has been developed in collaboration with Touchcast and Microsoft, who designed the experience for the Fiat brand. Touchcast's Metaverse-as-a-Service platform is built on the Microsoft Cloud, and provides customers with access to the metaverse without requiring VR headsets, avatars or specialized hardware.

 

 

The Fiat Metaverse Store can instantly transport the customer "inside" Fiat. Once inside, the Product Genius welcomes the customer, and together they can explore the car in 360-degree views and learn about its technology, address questions about electric mobility, recharging and any contents of the New 500. Furthermore, the customer can take a look up close at how the Infotainment and the different driving and EV charging modes work.

The client can also customize the model by choosing its body, color, interiors, and any other desired feature and literally see those changing in real-time. Furthermore, FIAT's completely immersive tool allows one to recreate a driving experience on board the New 500 La Prima by Bocelli on La Pista 500, the track on the roof of the Lingotto building in Turin.

The Fiat Metaverse Store launches in Italy, Fiat's home country, with its flagship model: the New 500 La Prima by Bocelli. The Product Genius is available Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

The project will encompass the entire New 500 line-up by the end of 2022. Additional models and markets will follow by the first semester of 2023.
