The facelifted seventh-generation Hyundai Elantra is on the horizon, and a number of camouflaged prototypes have already been seen out testing. While we don't know exactly what new design features it will boast, unofficial renders give us opportunities to let our imaginations run wild.

Kolesa motoring website chose to reimagine the Hyundai Elantra with a daring front fascia. The most impressive part of the renovation will undoubtedly be its Staria-inspired grille, which stretches from side to side and creates an eye-catching statement at the vehicle's forefront. Above it, there's a LED bar, similar to what the new Kona showed just a few days ago. The headlights are visually integrated into the grille and have a new shape and size compared to the current model.

This rendering of the rear end doesn't propose a radical transformation of the design. The designers, however, at least give the refreshed Elantra slightly revised internal graphics of the taillights and minor tweaks to the lower section of the bumper. These are all the visible changes for the moment, though much could change until the final production vehicle is completed.

After its introduction two years ago, the seventh-generation Hyundai Elantra is now being prepped for a comprehensive revamp. Anticipate this transformation to take place in late 2023 or possibly 2024.
