Check out the limited edition Polestar 2 BST 270 sedan with improved handling and power. Only 270 units will be produced, featuring a dual-motor setup with 476 horsepower and a 4.2 second 0-60 mph.

Polestar has released a video featuring the new Polestar 2 BST 270 on track. For those unfamiliar with the brand, Polestar was originally a Volvo performance modification garage that gained popularity and was eventually purchased by Volvo. Now operating as its own automaker, Polestar offers performance versions of its vehicles. The BST 270 is a limited edition variant of the Polestar 2 sedan, with only 270 units being produced.

The BST 270 is a modified version of the Polestar 2 sedan and boasts 476 horsepower from its all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup, capable of a 4.2 second 0-60. It also includes a performance-focused software update that improves the powertrain's responsiveness. While the vehicle's impressive power is worth noting, Polestar appears to have spent more time improving the handling. The car has been fitted with 2-way adjustable Ohlins dampers, which lower it by 25mm, as well as an aluminum front strut bar to stiffen the chassis. The BST 270 also features larger calipers and disks for improved stopping power and Parelli P-Zero performance tires for better traction.

In terms of design, the BST 270 is available in new exterior colors and has the option for a race-inspired livery. The interior maintains its classic Polestar design with added bolstering for a more secure fit. While the BST 270 may not break any speed records, its suspension and braking upgrades make it a formidable "sleeper" vehicle. Polestar continues its tradition of producing performance vehicles with the BST 270 and we can't wait to see what's next.
