Icoma has unveiled a new electric motorcycle that can be transformed into a suitcase-sized square in just a few seconds.

Dubbed the Tatamal bike, this tiny electric motorcycle can be charged for three hours, giving it a range of 18 miles. However, with a price tag of $4,000, it is on the high end of the market, making it less accessible than some of the other portable electric kick scooters available.

The Tatamal bike has a top speed of 25 mph, thanks to its 600W motor (with a maximum output of 2,000 watts). It also boasts a 12 amp-hour, 51-volt battery pack, as well as USB and optional AC output for charging other devices. However, at 110 pounds, it is quite heavy and may not be the most convenient option for travelers. Additionally, its 10-inch wheels may not be suitable for rough or pothole-ridden roads.

According to the company, the Tatamal bike is still in development and will be released to the public later this year. While it may be a unique and interesting concept, it is unclear whether it will find a market and, if so, who its target audience will be. Some reviewers have pointed out that the bike may not be competitively priced or spec'd compared to other options on the market.
