These new models, which include the Cub e:, Dax e:, and Zoomer e:, are part of Honda's ongoing efforts to transition to more environmentally-friendly options for their customers.

The Japanese automaker has previously announced plans to release 10 new electric two-wheeler models by 2025, and these latest releases in the Chinese market are a step towards achieving that goal. The Dax, Cub, and Zoomer have long been popular models in Honda's lineup of small-displacement scooters, and the addition of electric versions of these bikes is sure to attract attention.

Despite not providing specific details about the new models, Honda has classified them as Electric Bicycles (EB) in China, which means they have a top speed limit of 25 kilometers per hour. The company states that the new e-bikes are intended to appeal to today's on-the-go generation, specifically targeting the younger Generation Z demographic. As entry-level machines that do not require a driver's license to operate, these electric bikes are expected to be priced competitively. However, it is not yet confirmed if these models will be available outside of China.
