A popular model in Japan, the second generation of the WRX wagon was recently released and now has a special edition in the form of the STI Sport.

The Levorg STI Sport Performance Wagon has made its debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon. This limited-run variant is an upgrade to the range-topping Levorg STI Sport R EX, featuring 19-inch BBS forged wheels with 225/40 ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, a transmission oil cooler, strut tower brace, and flexible draw stiffener. In addition to these mechanical improvements, the exterior of the car has been given black detailing and the front seats are now Recaro bucket seats trimmed in suede and synthetic leather.

Powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter gasoline engine, the Levorg STI Sport generates 271 horsepower (202 kilowatts) and 258 pound-feet (350 Newton-meters) of torque, delivered to the all-wheel-drive system via a continuously variable transmission. This is the same output as the US-spec WRX, however, the six-speed manual is not available.

Only 500 units will be produced, with a price tag of 5,764,000 yen each, equivalent to around $45,000 and €41,400. Orders will be taken at dealerships across Japan from January 26th until May 12th. For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, the standard 2.4-liter Levorg STI R can be purchased for the equivalent of $34,600 or €32,000.
