Automotive companies often partner with other brands to promote their vehicles, and the latest example of this is Nissan's collaboration with New Balance for its Kicks crossover in Japan.

he Nissan Kicks 327 Edition is inspired by the popular New Balance 327 sneakers, and features a unique wrapping design that mimics the shoes' suede fabric and iconic white sole.

The Nissan Kicks e-Power 4WD is wrapped with the New Balance logo prominently displayed on the right side, and the left side features the Nissan Kicks 327 Edition branding. The roof of the car is also designed to resemble the "tongue and collar" of the sneakers, with white laces extending to the hood of the crossover.

The Nissan Kicks 327 Edition will be exhibited at the Nissan Crossing, a re-imagining of the Nissan Gallery, a Ginza landmark for over 50 years. Nissan is also launching a marketing campaign called "Catch the Kicks" where people who spot and post the crossover on Twitter will have the chance to win a Nissan Kicks e-Power 4WD. It's unclear if the prize will include the 327 Edition livery.

Additionally, those who retweet Nissan's corresponding Twitter post will also have the chance to win a pair of New Balance 327s. A Nissan Kicks 327 Edition sticker will also be available at the New Balance Ginza official store starting January 24th on a first come, first served basis.
