Waze, the popular navigation app, has released a new update for iPhone users, bringing the app to version 4.91. The update, which was developed by Google-owned company, Waze, aims to improve the accuracy of distance measurements when searching for new addresses.

Waze stands out from other navigation apps due to its built-in crowdsourcing engine, which allows users to share information about hazards they encounter while driving, thus alerting other drivers to potential roadblocks or delays. This feature also helps the app to find faster routes to a destination by avoiding traffic jams or accidents.

With version 4.91, Waze has further optimized its autocomplete feature in the search box, ensuring that the distance measurements displayed are accurate. The update also includes support for the new Android Auto interface, allowing Waze to run in the dedicated navigation card in the split-view screen, similar to Google Maps.

The new feature, which is currently available for Waze users enrolled in the beta program, will be rolled out to all users in the coming weeks. In a statement, Waze said, "We are constantly working to improve the user experience, and this update is just one step in that direction."
