The video showcases a first look at the upcoming luxury SUV and reveals that it will feature an illuminated grille, which is expected to be an optional extra. This styling feature wasn't available on the pre-facelift X5 but can be seen on BMW's X6 model.
Additionally, it appears that the headlights and taillights have received a redesign with new internal graphics, as previously hinted at in spy photos. There may also be changes to the kidney grilles and bumpers, as well as new exterior colors and wheel designs.

Big changes are also expected inside the cabin, with the infotainment system being upgraded to BMW's iDrive 8, despite the brand's preparations for the launch of its next-gen infotainment hardware and software.
Under the hood, the X5 will be more electrified, with six and eight-cylinder engines expected to receive electric support and the X5 xDrive45e plug-in hybrid expected to receive a more powerful mill. The expected power output of this hybrid is 389 horsepower (290 kilowatts) and 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-meters) of torque, achieved through the pairing of a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine with an electric motor.
It's only a matter of days or even hours until all the details surrounding the 2024 X5 become known. The model is expected to hit BMW's US dealerships later this year.
