Mercedes-Benz is no stranger to collaborations with renowned artists and fashion houses, so it comes as no surprise that their latest team up is with clothing and accessories company Moncler. On February 20, they will unleash a new concept based on the G-Class at London Fashion Week.

Mercedes published several teasers for what it has called an “imaginative universe”. Two of them reveal the unmistakable grille and headlights of the classic G-Wagen surrounded by inflated pieces resembling Moncler's puffers. From the profile shot, one can make out an oversized wheel structure complemented by four rows of puffers which look akin to a cover found on pickup trucks.

Furthermore, the automaker hinted that this collaboration celebrates shared values between them and Moncler, thus confirming that we are dealing with an art piece rather than a functional SUV here. The man behind this project is Gorden Wagener - Chief Design Officer of Mercedes‑Benz Group - who put his signature on it too. All eyes will be glued to the “Moncler Art Of Genius” live show during London Fashion Week which will also stream online to draw maximum attention from automotive and fashion media alike.
