Alfa Romeo F1 Team have put up their first C43 F1 car for auction, without an engine. The carbon-fiber shell was used for the official launch earlier this week. Bidding stands at £83,000 (roughly $100,000) with 12 days left.

The car has been put up for auction via the official F1 merchandise website, F1 Authentics. Although it does not feature a working engine, it is a lightweight pre-reg carbon fiber shell strong enough to support its own weight on four wheels and built using the same methods Alfa will use to make their actual F1 car.

It also features a fully operational 3D-printed steering wheel with a functional center display connected to a steering rack and working rain lights. Additionally, the front and rear wings are removable along with the front wheels - creating potential for practicing pit stop skills.

Also included with purchase are both Valtteri Bottas' and Zhou Guanyu's signed race suits and boots worn during launch plus a signature chassis plaque denoting this show car as chassis #01. The livery finish is reportedly on-par with that of the real deal, offering an impressive conversation starter in any living room!

Bidding ends February 21st at 3 PM GMT.
