Ferrari's first-ever SUV, the 2024 Purosangue, comes with a price tag of $398,350, which includes a destination charge of $5,000. The gas-guzzler tax, which is yet to be determined, will be an additional cost for the buyers.

Ferrari has announced the pricing of its highly anticipated first SUV, the 2024 Purosangue. According to an email sent by Ferrari to Car and Driver, the Purosangue will come with a price tag of $398,350, including a $5,000 destination charge. This makes the Purosangue one of the most expensive SUVs in the market, joining the ranks of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga Speed, and Lamborghini Urus Performante.

However, the Purosangue's gas-guzzler tax, which is yet to be determined, will be an additional cost for the buyers. The tax is dependent on the vehicle's official fuel economy, which is yet to be announced by the EPA. The vehicle's classification will also affect the gas-guzzler tax. If it is classified as an SUV, the Purosangue could be exempted from the tax, but if it is categorized as a station wagon, the tax would apply. The Lamborghini Urus Performante is also classified as a station wagon, which adds confusion to the matter.

Regardless of the final cost, the Purosangue is expected to be a powerful performer. It comes with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 engine that delivers 715 horsepower and 528 pound-feet of torque. The SUV claims to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds. The Purosangue does not have traditional anti-roll bars, but instead, it has an adaptive suspension that uses electric motors to control body roll by applying a force on the dampers.
