Tuning company Novitec has offered enhancement kits for the McLaren Elva, a limited-edition production of only 149 cars. Now the British hyper-roadster without a windshield and a roof is able to produce up to 919 hp instead.

McLaren Elva is powered by a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, which with Novitec tuning produces an output increased to 919 horsepower and delivers an uprated peak torque of 888 Nm. This results in phenomenal acceleration figures and a top speed of morethan 330 km/h.

By comparison, the standard McLaren Elva achieves 815 hp (804bhp) and 800 Nm (590lb-ft) of torque, while the top speed is limited to 326 km/h (203 mph).

Novitec also developed a precision-tuned, tailor-made handling package for the two-seater that features hi-tech 20-inch and 21-inch forged wheels and sport springs, which give the mid-engined sports car more thrilling looks and make the handling even more agile.

The car is already breathtakingly expensive at around $1.8 million, so these upgrades are sure to push that price closer to (or above) the $2 million mark. A drop in the bucket for those who can afford the car in the first place.
