Hennessey, the Texan tuner, has introduced a new Carbon Edition package for its Mammoth 1000 TRX pickup truck. The package replaces all exterior plastic with genuine carbon fiber to give the vehicle a more exotic appearance like that of a supercar.

The Mammoth 1000 TRX is one of the most extravagant trucks available, and the new Carbon Edition package from Hennessey replaces all exterior plastic with genuine carbon fiber. The package includes the grille, hood scoop, fender and hood vents, headlight and taillight surrounds, and engine cover. Hennessey assures that the carbon fiber pieces are lighter, stronger, more chemical-resistant, and temperature-tolerant than original equipment parts.

The new package is available for any 2021-2023 Mammoth TRX model, including the Mammoth 900 and Mammoth 1000 versions. The Mammoth 900 produces 912 horsepower from its tuned 6.2-liter Supercharged Hemi V8, while the Mammoth 1000 delivers 1,012 hp and 969 lb-ft torque.

The carbon kit costs $11,950 and includes a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty. However, the package does not include interior accents as the 2023 Ram 1500 TRX already has those from the factory as part of a $1,295 package.

The TRX is a heavy truck, weighing in at 6,440 pounds stock, so replacing the plastic with carbon fiber will not increase its performance. However, it will give it a more menacing appearance.

John Hennessey, the founder, and CEO of Hennessey said, "Our Mammoth TRX has fantastic stage presence because it is massive in stature, incredibly powerful, and its supercharger whine is unmistakable...The new Carbon Edition package compliments the truck's already aggressive exterior with a unique sporty flair. The premium carbon-fiber accents are classy, yet subtle - effectively transforming the [TRX] into a much more visually upscale truck while accentuating its rugged appearance."

The Ram TRX starts at $84,555 before options and delivery. The Mammoth upgrade package from Hennessey costs $11,950, bringing the total price to around $150,000 before additional extras like the available Overlanding kit for $20,000.
