Kia has released two teaser videos of its upcoming all-electric SUV, the EV9, ahead of its world premiere later this month. The SUV has the potential to compete with the premium Rivian R1S at a lower price and will be the second model under Kia's new "EV" series nomenclature, following the EV6 crossover.

The EV9 will be the second all-electric model under Kia's new "EV" series nomenclature, following the success of the EV6 crossover, which was launched last year. The EV6 has received positive feedback from consumers for its spacious interior and advanced charging technology, thanks to Hyundai Motor Group's 800V E-GMP platform.

The EV9 is expected to have a third row and a sleek back end similar to its sibling, the EV6. The SUV has the potential to compete with the premium Rivian R1S at a lower price.

The first video shows the EV9's front and rear lights, which appear to have some Hyundai Motor Group DNA. Kia has integrated its own version of the "Parametric Pixels" design, similar to the upcoming Hyundai IONIQ 6.

The second video offers a better view of the overall silhouette of the EV9, which resembles the original concept and the video footage seen in the wild.

Kia has announced that it will fully reveal both the exterior and interior of the EV9 in mid-March, followed by a full world premiere at the end of the month.
