Suzuki Jimny Heritage Edition set to be one of the rarest off-roaders yet

Suzuki has announced the release of the Jimny Heritage Edition, a retro-inspired vehicle with limited numbers and exclusive features, set to be released soon in Australia. Only 300 units of the vehicle will be manufactured, making it one of the rarest pint-sized off-roaders to be produced.

The Jimny Heritage Edition will come in four different colorways, including green, white, grey, and black, each with red and orange graphics and red mudflaps. The vehicle has heritage decals and a unique cargo tray to complete its distinct look.

The Heritage Edition is equipped with the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine as the standard Jimny and Jimny Lite, which produces approximately 100 horsepower and 96 pound-feet of torque. The special edition model comes exclusively with a five-speed manual gearbox.

The Heritage Edition builds on the GLX trim, the most expensive variant of the Jimny. It features a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, LED headlights, a rearview camera, fog lights, and advanced driver aids.

Suzuki offers several options and accessories to upgrade the basic version, such as skid plates, cargo accessories, and premium speakers, as well as a 15-inch wheel kit costing AUD 1,800 (approximately $1,214). The starting price for the Heritage Edition is AUD 33,490, or $22,591, a few thousand more than the base Jimny. However, buyers will have to shell out an additional AUD 695 (approximately $469) for the other hues as white is the only standard paint color.
