Mini has released the technical specifications of its upcoming all-electric five-door crossover, the 2025 Aceman. The car will be available in two versions: E and SE, and will be produced by Spotlight Automotive, a joint venture between BMW Group and Great Wall Motor in China.

The 2025 MINI Aceman is set to become the latest addition to MINI’s lineup, which also includes the 2024 Cooper 3-Door and 2024 Countryman. Unlike those models, which offer a choice between combustion engines and electric drivetrains, the Aceman will be offered strictly as an EV.

Buyers will have a choice between the base E model and the hotter SE. The base E model will feature an electric motor with 181 hp (135 kW) and a 40-kWh battery pack with a range of 300 kilometers (186 miles) in the WLTP cycle. Upgrading to the SE model will increase power to 215 hp (160 kW) and battery size to 54 kWh, resulting in a range of 400 km (249 miles).

The Aceman’s specs are identical to those of the electric Cooper hatchback, with MINI describing the Aceman as the all-electric crossover counterpart of the 5-door hatchback. However, the Aceman will be slightly larger than the hatch, measuring 4075 millimeters (160.4 inches) long and 1495 mm (59 in) tall, with a wheelbase measuring 2605 mm (102.5 in).

The Aceman will be produced by Spotlight Automotive, a 50:50 joint venture between MINI’s parent company BMW Group and Great Wall Motor, in China. The official unveiling is expected to take place in 2024, following the world premiere of the new hatchback and Countryman electric duo in early September this year at IAA Munich.
