BMW enthusiasts have always been on the lookout for modifications to enhance the performance of their vehicles. This time, G-Power has come up with an impressive package for the M8 Gran Coupe that is sure to catch the attention of those looking for a significant power boost.
The most important part of the upgrade package is the power increase. G-Power has equipped the V8 S63 engine with new forged pistons and connecting rods, two new air coolers, optimized turbochargers, and a new engine control unit. These hardware tweaks have resulted in a staggering output of 900 horsepower and 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) of torque. The standard engine, by comparison, offers 617 horsepower and 553 lb-ft (750 Newton-meters) of torque.
The power boost also comes with a pleasing exhaust sound enhancement thanks to G-Power's in-house developed exhaust system with carbon tailpipes with lower exhaust back pressure.

To match the power increase, the upgrade package also includes a set of 21-inch forged rims with 285/30 front and 295/30 rear tires. The most striking exterior upgrade is the big fixed wing at the back made of carbon. Other carbon body components include the engine hood with better thermal management for the engine compartment. Customers can also opt for a standard bonnet finished in a dark shade of purple.
While the pricing information for the full package has not been released yet, it is expected to be on the higher end of the spectrum. However, for those who are not looking to spend a fortune on engine modifications, G-Power also offers more subtle power upgrade packages ranging from 700 horsepower to 840 horsepower. The exact power output depends on the software tune and the upgraded components that can be installed independently.
