Juliana, an adventure seeker, lives full-time on the road in her 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Overlander SUV. She works as an Off-Road trail guide for Onyx Off-Road, which sustains her lifestyle.

Juliana chooses to live a life on the road, which she finds liberating. Her goal is to explore the scenic and rugged areas of the U.S. Hence, she picked a very capable off-roading vehicle in the FJ Cruiser for her journey.

Juliana affectionately calls her FJ Cruiser motorhome "Wreck" short for "Recycle." She has made extensive modifications to her Toyota SUV to fit her lifestyle.  It includes a bison gear roof rack, solar panels on the roof, and zip-tied headlights and lights. The roof rack is still in the process of being assembled. However, Juliana uses the storage boxes on top of it to keep her belongings. The solar panels provide her with 200 watts of power.

Living on the road is challenging, admits Juliana. Basic facilities such as bathrooms or running water become scarce. However, she prefers to live her life one day at a time and not worry about the future. She finds joy in feeling free and alive while exploring the great outdoors.

The FJ Cruiser isn’t the most spacious, but its overlanding capabilities make it a perfect choice for Juliana. She encourages fellow adventure enthusiasts to consider an alternate lifestyle that they are passionate about.
