The video of the new tanks was published by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov. He expressed gratitude for the help of the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Defense Minister Ben Wallace and the people of Great Britain.
Reznikov also noted that the Challenger 2 will soon begin combat missions.

On the previous day the UK Ministry of Defense published a documentary about the training of Ukrainian tank crews in controlling, maintaining and firing Challenger 2 tanks. The training took place on the territory of Great Britain over several months starting from January 2023.
The British government promised to give Ukraine 14 Challenger 2 tanks and ammunition for them.
