Nissan is hosting the world debut of the all-electric Arizon Concept at Auto Shanghai 2023, a battery electric SUV that combines imposing exterior design with a tech-laden cabin and interactive lighting system.

The Arizon Concept is an all-electric battery SUV that merges a muscular design with a tech-laden interior. The model is based on the CMF-EV platform, and features a wide screen dashboard, steering yoke, raised center tunnel, lounge seats and an auto-dimming glass roof.

It also has a virtual personal assistant (Eporo) and an interactive lightning system that recognizes people and automatically adapts the illumination to suit their preferences. Though it's unclear if the Arizon will make it to production in this form, it could be indicative of Nissan's future EV models in China.

The Nissan Arizon Concept is a glimpse into the future of electric vehicles, with its combination of powerful exterior design and tech-filled interior. While it remains to be seen if the model will make it to production in this form, it reveals Nissan's commitment to meeting the need for increased electrification and advanced sustainability in the Chinese market.
