The video proves that this build is not a static model but a functional vehicle that moves and steers, giving the driver an amazing view of the road ahead.

The demand for replicas has increased due to individuals seeking attention on social media through various DIY projects. Although the market has already produced numerous small-scale replicas, a unique creation has surfaced in the form of an SUV with a steel body resembling an Audi, but on a much larger scale.

A video of the unique vehicle – supposedly shot in China – appeared on Reddit, making us watch in disbelief. Judging from the grippy tires and the overall footprint, the model could be based on a leftover chassis from some sort of heavy-equipment machinery. We must note though that despite the impressive stance, the fake Audi appears to be slightly smaller compared to Rainbow Sheikh’s creations.

The steel body of the monster SUV is clearly trying to replicate the design of the previous generation Audi Q5 and Q7, featuring the signature grille, cutouts for the missing lighting units, and S-line intakes on the front and rear bumpers. It doesn’t have any windows, but there is a cutout for them and an equally large sunroof.

The open-air interior can only be accessed from the back since this Audi is not equipped with side doors. Surprisingly there is an electric tailgate and a retractable ladder allowing people to climb inside. While we didn’t get a proper view of the interior, things look pretty basic in there, so don’t expect anything fancy. Thankfully, the driver’s seat is mounted high enough so the average person can see outside from the humongous windscreen.

It's unclear if the owner intends to continue the project and add paint or other features. However, we are curious to find out more information about it.
