Looking for a unique, eco-friendly way to carry your groceries? Look no further than Subaru's latest product: stylish shopping bags made from unused airbag material.

These bags, available in white with blue or pink accents, can be purchased online for just 2,750 yen (about $20 USD).

Subaru partnered with Toyoda Gosei, an automotive component manufacturer, to make these bags a reality. Toyoda Gosei is known for promoting sustainability by repurposing unused materials and is selling these bags under the "Re-S" banner. The bags measure 21.6 inches (550 millimeters) long (including handle), 13.4 inches (340 mm) wide, and 4.7 inches (120 mm) deep, with reflective stripes on the handles to increase visibility at night.

These shopping bags are just one of the many products in the Re-S lineup, which includes wallets, pen holders, key holders, and more. All of these items are made from leftover automotive airbags and leather, giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.
