German tuning specialist Manhart has once again proven its expertise by modifying the BMW X5 M to produce an impressive 730 horsepower.

The MHX5 700, as the upgraded model is called, gets a power boost courtesy of Manhart’s MHtronik powerbox and a stainless steel exhaust system, resulting in a torque output of 663 lb-ft (900 Nm). This significant increase in power is achieved from the base X5 M's already impressive 625 horsepower and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque.

Aside from the performance enhancements, the MHX5 700 also features new carbon-fiber parts, including a front spoiler, side skirts, a diffuser, and a two-piece spoiler located under the rear window. Other modifications include M Performance Parts such as carbon mirror caps, carbon tailpipes, and a carbon roof edge spoiler, along with 23-inch Y-Spoke rims with a silk matte black finish. The Manhart coilover shocks by KW Suspensions complete the SUV's updated look.

Inside the cabin, Manhart made a few modifications with new floor mats, gearshift paddles, and a carbon steering wheel trim. While the updated X5 M was not used as the base for this upgrade, it is expected that Manhart will soon modify the latest version, which comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, for its own performance upgrade.

Manhart is known for its exceptional performance upgrades and has an impressive portfolio of modified cars, including the MXH5 800, which debuted a few years ago with 823 horsepower. With the MHX5 700 joining the ranks of Manhart's high-powered creations, enthusiasts can expect nothing less than impressive upgrades from this tuning specialist.
