The new teasers reveal interesting details that haven't been shown before, such as the new wheel designs. Mini says the multi-spoke design with a black and chrome finish focuses on a graphic design characterized by strong color contrasts, contributing to improved aerodynamic qualities and increased range for the electric versions.
The automaker has also redesigned the steering wheel for the next-generation model family. The steering wheel now comes with a new two-spoke design as standard, and there's an optional variant with a distinctive fabric finish. There's also a new range of seats with several combinations between colors, materials, and patterns, including laminated seat side panels.

“With our new Charismatic Simplicity design language, we are completely rethinking the iconic MINI. Our purist, progressive approach combines the simplicity of functional elements with the emotionality that MINI is renowned for,” says Oliver Heilmer, Head of MINI Design. “We are convinced that the conscious reduction to a few, but expressive elements enable innovations that would have been unthinkable before.”
Finally, Mini highlights the new round center display, which combines the functions of the instrument cluster and the onboard monitor. The OLED touchscreen has a diameter of 9.44 inches (240 millimeters) and runs new software with a new virtual personal assistant. Recent spy photos from yesterday showed almost the entire cabin.
While the design of the next-generation Mini models isn't exactly a secret, the automaker insists on playing the teasing game, releasing preview images with its upcoming vehicles. These teasers offer a sneak peek into what Mini enthusiasts can expect from the next-generation models. However, many are eager for Mini to reveal the vehicles fully, as the teasers have only added to the anticipation.
