Fans of the Grand Tour can rejoice as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are set to make their comeback on Amazon Prime Video next month. The highly anticipated new special episode, titled "Eurocrash," promises to take viewers on a thrilling central-European road trip.

In this upcoming episode, the trio will embark on a 1,400-mile journey across Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia, each behind the wheel of an unlikely road trip machine. Richard Hammond has chosen a retro-inspired yellow Chevrolet SSR, a pickup truck model produced by Chevy between 2003 and 2006. Jeremy Clarkson, known for his unconventional choices, will be driving a Mitsuoka Le-Seyde, a limited-to-500 Japanese creation based on the Nissan Silvia S13. James May, staying true to his affinity for forgotten gems, will be seen with a Crosley Convertible from the 1940s, a small American car with a modest 724-cc engine.

As expected, the episode will deliver the usual dose of excitement and humor, with a special appearance by a renowned racing driver and the exploration of "Soviet-style" Formula 1. However, there is still uncertainty surrounding Jeremy Clarkson's future with Amazon Studios, following reports of the streaming giant considering severing ties due to his controversial remarks, which have since been retracted.

While fans await the premiere of this European special, they can also look forward to another Grand Tour episode filmed in Africa, which recently wrapped up in Mauritania. The African adventure, featuring a Jaguar F-Type and Maserati Gran Cabrio, is expected to air in late 2023 or early 2024.

Make sure to mark your calendars for Friday, June 16th, when The Grand Tour's European road trip will be available for streaming on Prime Video.
