To meet the growing demand, Fisker aims to gradually ramp up production throughout May. By the end of June, the company plans to have built an impressive 1,400-1,700 Fisker Ocean vehicles, provided all partners deliver as expected. Looking ahead, Fisker intends to further increase production in Q3 2023 to support the rollout in other global markets, with a projected volume of 32,000-36,000 vehicles for 2023.
CEO Henrik Fisker emphasizes the brand's commitment to an exceptional customer experience by stating, "We are going to give extra attention to detail on each vehicle, ensuring a great customer experience, since these are built for our first volume deliveries and marketing purposes such as test drives." With the excitement building, Fisker will soon be notifying its first customers about the delivery schedule.
While gradually increasing production, Fisker is working closely with its supply chain partners to ensure that volume and quality expectations are met. The production line in May will include the first Fisker Ocean vehicles destined for customer deliveries and marketing purposes in the US, with arrival expected in June.
Fisker Ocean
Both the Fisker Ocean Extreme and One trims boast an impressive confirmed combined WLTP range of up to 707 km, making them the longest-range battery electric SUVs currently available in Europe. Fisker expects these trims to receive EPA range and regulatory approval as well as CARB Executive Order later this month.
The Ocean is manufactured in Graz, Austria, by contract manufacturer Magna. Production started there last November. The first Fisker Ocean was recently delivered to a customer in Denmark on May 5, 2023.
